Fall / Winter 2008 - 'Got to Have It'
20 Aou 2008 by GoodEyeVintage

My favorite season is just around the corner, in my neck of the woods....Fall and Winter!  I can barely wait!

With our summer temps hoovering around 90+ degrees for a solid month, one need not wonder why I love winter.  Who among us would not crave that seasonal cooling?

However,  don't be fooled, for the end of summer means so much more to me than just the 'absence of sweat'.  It means that I can change my style....I can put on the RITZ

I get to exchange flip/flops and short shorts, for suede pumps and luscious woolens.   So happy, I am, to do it, that I have already started my list of 'MUST HAVES'.

Just so you understand my list, I must HINT to you that my Fashion style is kind of: Sophisticated punk, Classic, Chic, 60s Twiggy vs Grace Jones look.

Now that you've got an idea of what I wear, this list will tell you what Miss GoodEye WANTs>

  • Shoes:  Red 2" high Mary Janes, maybe peeptoe;
  • A pair of wedge heel flat boots in brown or grey (already have black)
  • A pair of sueded slouch boots with 3" heel hopefully multicolored
  • Black or blue sleeveless tent jumper micro mini dress made of boiled wool
  • Maxi dress made like a tight fitting sweater, Black of course
  • 60s two piece woolen knit day dress and matching coat in a bright bright color.
  • purple oversized 80s vintage sweater with studs and nail head trim, to wear over matching hose with patterns on them
  • vintage 40s or 50s wool suit with pencil skirt
  • tight long sleeve white cotton tee shirt (need 3), also need one each in red, grey, black and pink
  • velvet 60s Pucci jacket (any color combo will do)
  • Vintage norma kamali Jacket or dress from the 80s
  • an Alpaca chesterfield coat in khaki/camel color or navy
  • Killer bag, giant vintage tapestry pocketbook or giant metallic gold 60s pocketbook
  • Vintage 80s Belts - wide with studs, nailheads, or holes; metal belts in goldtone, pewter and painted if possible

Ok.  So now you know a little about me and what I want for the next season.

This list will be added to in the next few weeks, and checked off as I find the stuff.  With photos I may update the hunt.

Check back with me soon!
