Modepass: Corinne Cobson, what is this story that you wanted a come back under the limelight after 7 years of absence !

Corinne Cobson: 7 years of absence dedicated to my children !!! No absence at all, in fact, I have been working all this time with different projects and  going back now to do a fashion show was for me a vital creative need, that’s why !

Modepass: Why this comeback and use of the web, and most particularly the social networks to communicate?

Corinne Cobson: Because for me it is today’s way of communicating, because it is transversal, direct and with no boundaries.

Modepass: You start at 15 years and a half and you succeed. You decide to find the « ESSENCE » and in 2007 decide to live! like Molière, is it so that true artists never let the passion go ?

Corinne Cobson: It is passion that never lets the artist go !

Modepass: In a few words, how do you see the universe of creativity in the fashion world today ?

Corinne Cobson: Everything has been done and everything is still to be done.

Modepass: Can anybody still make it ?

Corinne Cobson: And how !!

Modepass: What is it that does not work within the system ?

Corinne Cobson: It would be too long a story,  but within the system there are areas of brilliant creations and the instruments that the system gives you are there to be used and make it work.
In fact every day you have fantastic creations coming up.

Modepass: You have chosen to participate in an avant-garde fair such as the Under the Louvre with Modepass, why ?

Corinne Cobson: The concept fascinates me, my curiosity pushed me, and I am always ready for new adventures.

Modepass: Are you really shifting forward or are you unconventional?

Corinne Cobson: Neither, just myself !

Modepass: If so, can someone that does not conform to codes still succeed in our times ?

Corinne Cobson: Lucidity can also be non conventional and certainly allows to succeed, it pushes creativity,
realism aswell as folly.
Corinne Cobson: Lets not forget that I am a Virgo sign, so the saying goes «  Crazy virgo , wise virgo… »

Modepass: In the fabulous film « Good Morning England » the seniors give a true slap of good humor, chutzpah and energy compared to the young people, who are all timorous, are you like that?

Corinne Cobson: I do not think so…..I do not believe in age or generational differences, it is the spirit and attitude that count in life.

Modepass: Art and fashion creation, what else?

Corinne Cobson: Anything else and everything else around it!

Modepass: Today in your Space there is an exhibition of the artist ARTUS, why?

Corinne Cobson: My Space has its own DNA, its own dynamic, that touches exhibitions, one-man-shows, and showcases, ARTUS…. because I love this artist, a free electron, multiform (painter, photographer, video maker), just a powerful man.

Modepass: Your sensibility pushes you to be provocative towards the system?

Corinne Cobson: My language is always a soft and constructive provocation….

Modepass: Are you really going to help the young designers on the Modepass Space at Under le Louvre ?

Corinne Cobson: Yes, with love!
