I have never seen snow. Not outside of my television. Also, I have never been to a weather below 7° Celsius. Luckily I have never seen anything above 33° C - yet.
I don't know what foreign people think when they think of Brazil. But where I live - Brasilia - there's no beach or forest. Here in the middle of the country the weather is so crazy that it is really hard to dress up.
I mean, what do you dress when early in the morning when you go to work or school it's like 12° C, by noon and until the sunset it's around 30° C, and at night and dawn it's 12° or 10° C again? It's insane! Not to mention that if you stay outside you'll probably sweat a lot, altough staying inside you'll probably have to wear some more coats - or freeze.
For example:
Last week I wore this to go shopping with my mother. She said she wanted me to drive. Ok, I got into the car and by the first red light I had to take off my jacket - I was sweating already. Then when we got into the mall I had to put it on right away, to me it was like north pole!
So as much as I love winter fashion, I also hate it. I love tights but I mostly wear them at nights - during the day they will cook my legs. Wool coats are so beautiful, but I only have one which I wore once. Boots are forbidden during the day. Hats are like you personal sauna for your head. Only scarves are your friends - you can take them off and tuck in your bag.
But who am I trying to fool? No one resists to the charms of winter fashion. And here I am wearing tights during the day again:
Just to regret and swear that I'll never do it again - until the next time.
