On Thursday, October 1st, it was the opening so expected from the concept store Uniqlo in Paris.
And waited is a weak word to describe the event!
More of 100m of queuing of each side of the street, a wait of 45 minutes in cashdesk !

Today, I wanted to return there, thinking that the phenomenon would have "squashed"...
And not! Always this queuing outside, many products out of stock...
Madness !

Uniqlo it is the kingdom of the BASIC at small prices !
Little developed in the pattern, we find nevertheless a multitude of forms, colors, cuttings...
And very attractive prices without neglecting the quality called "standard": 7 euro the T-shirt cotton long sleeves, 19 euro the sweat, 39 euro the jeans...

But also artists invited for collections "special": especially T-shirts!

Contrary to what is often said, I do not think that GAP is the direct competitor of UNIQLO.

I think rather of American Apparel, of big reference of the " BASIC fashion " to much less accessible prices: 17 euro the T-shirt cotton short sleeves, 45 euro the sweat, 47 euro the cotton dress...
But surprised, I have just noticed that they launched a big promotion on many products:

While American Apparel is not in the habit of settling its products; some rare promotion on the on-line shop are visible but there the selection is vast!
A fear of the Japanese giant?
Then, for the big chaines such as Zara, H*M, Gap, their clients around Uniqlo is certainly decreased...
But H*M defends himself by saying: " Uniqlo is a competitor as the other one. Their range of products remains very basic "
