I`ve always considered that in order to become a real trend-setter you must find that equilibrium between mediocred-priced chlothes and the ones that can be changed for a month`s rent. But in ored to do this, you need that sharp sense of fashion which works great with vintage as it does with Prada.
As not everybody has a personal stilist nor a billionar father ( who usually comes with a tired chihuahua and a lot of pink jewelery of what i could observe) we must learn to put together a bargain with a classical piece and still have the opportunity to shake the "runway". When you find a piece which really got your attention but which is also available in thousands of other stores, just follow your instinct ( well, actually that didn`t go that great for me, not when i bought a red baby jacket from a vintage store and after wearing it once and listening to my mother`s criticism i`ve decided to stop hidding the short sleeves and just donate it, and i`m talking about my instinct here). But let`s imagine you don`t have these peculiar urges :). So if you don`t fall in love with that piece, you mustn`t buy it. And if you do and you happen to see many other girls wearing the same thing ( yes that is fashion-suicidal for a fashion addict), then again just trust your instinct and try to find something that they can`t have. What else ? Second-hand or vintage, these are great and you can be sure you won`t bump into someone wearing the same thing that you do. You can also accesorize by following your own taste and if you also have good genes, well you`re all set!
